![]() In comparison, Illustrator and InDesign have 2 distinct tools - one for moving and resizing, and another for editing. Sometimes you click on a text box and it's in move mode (so you can drag and drop it somewhere else). Sometimes you click on a text box and it puts you in text edit mode. For example: You select the text box tool, then click and drag a text box and it defaults to an unpleasant, oversized text with a white outline. If you're used to any professional design programs such as InDesign or Illustrator, you'll find the editor a bit unintuitive. I never bought them and never will, but I'd easily pay an extra $5 for a Snagit upgrade if it just included all of them. ![]() I don't like that they charge more for additional shapes and call-out styles. 9 times out of 10 I end up adding the shape and then adjusting what I can, and saving it as my own custom style. ![]() I've been a loyal subscriber for 5+ years and each time I purchase an upgrade I hope to see some refreshed shapes. In my opinion the style of the default shapes (arrows, callout bubbles) look outdated (think outlined text and drop shadows). ![]()
